100 or so ways to make your life as a medical student and junior doctor easier.

18th April 2024

Are you a medical student or junior doctor? Are you a middle grade or senior doctor? Are you a professional in a profession allied to medicine?

How would you like to learn the following?

  • The super easy way and fun to learn anatomy and neuroscience for junior students and how to re-learn it in 1/10th of the time for clinical students.
  • How to get 20% extra marks in your negatively marked binary choice exams with no extra study. This book shows three methods to do just that- including the number one reason why students fail BCQs.
  • How to learn clinical medicine at least 10 times better and deeper with no extra study. You will be frightened at how fast you are learning clinical medicine. However this will make revision for exams super easy.
  • Good habits to get into early before you qualify to make your early years as a junior doctor super easy. These are things nevertaught at university.
  • One of our goals is for us to be inundated with complaints from medical school deans saying that too many students are reaching the threshold for distinctions and honours.

All you need to do is go and buy a copy of 100 or so ways to make your life as a medical student and junior doctor easier. It normally retails for £29.99 as a hard copy but there are 5000 copies available as an e-book edition for £19.99.

The book was created by an intercalated degree medical student who won a sum of money on the national lottery and surveyed a load of ward sisters in ways that medical students and junior doctors make life harder for themselves. Each nurse was paid £10 for each completed entry. The results were compiled into a book and it’s recently been updated. If you read below you’ll see reviews on the previous edition which speak for themselves.

Have you heard the horror stories of tired or stressed doctors? Well our book for £19.99 will be a great investment for you irrespective of whatever rank or profession allied to medicine you are in. See the reviews from Lesley Bailey and Heather Friesen (below.)

Look at what other people have written about the first edition.

"I did read your book, and from my perspective, if all doctors followed the advice given here, not only would they make their lives easier, but they would make our lives easier too! And that has much to commend it. A systematic approach to work means that mistakes are less likely, either of omission or commission - and that has ultimately to be of benefit to patients, which is why we all do the job in the first place. There is much that is unpredictable in any medical role - and if we do the routine things well and efficiently, it leaves us room to deal with the unpredictable well and properly, which is again to the benefit of the patient."

"I have read your book today, if only this was the way all Junior doctors performed on the wards life would be so much easier for the nursing and ancillary staff. Also the patients would be more at ease having a full understanding of their treatment.

"Only too often are patients left wondering what is going to happen too them because none of the doctors have bothered to explain.

"Your book was so easy to read and I am sure any junior doctor would appreciate the 100 or so ways you shared with them to make them a better doctor, which in turn will help with the efficient running of the ward and the well being of the patient."

    Judith Sharpe Theatre Sister

"I think it is an excellent guide to help out the junior doctors. I like the way it is written in a clear concise way. I think it also helps out members of the other medically related professions and they should read it too!"

    Heather Friesen ITU Sister

“I have never met a junior doctor that would think of all the things you have mentioned.”

Sister Hannington ward sister with considerable experience of dealing with junior doctors.

“I am the Head of Medical Personnel at North West London Hospitals NHS Trust and have recently seen a copy of your paper and I thought it is a very informative document. Would it be possible for me give this out to our juniors at Induction as I think it could provide a useful insight for them?”

Fergus Browne Head of Medical Personnel at North West London NHS Trust

“I was very impressed with this book as I feel it will be extremely helpful for newly appointed House Officers. It gives comprehensive practical advice to the new doctors on the ward and I only wish that I had something like that when I was a House Officer.”

Now the case studies you will see are very exciting. We’re sharing them because it’s important for people to realize that others have actually accomplished the programmes created and to see it is possible.it seems today that everybody is trying to sell you something and make ridiculous claims that you can just press a few buttons and still make money. That is not how it works. These specific people worked very hard and were dedicated. Yes they followed the programme but it’s not 100% of WHY they succeeded. We do our best to ensure that everybody has a shot of making it but the truth is that like anything else in life there is a lot more involved than a step by step programme. These people are special in that they reached their goals but that doesn’t mean you will. We do our best to give you every asset we can to help you reach them but only you are responsible for your success which the programme or fail. We could just put “results not typical” here in really small text but we think it’s our job to make you understand that you reach your goals you will have to work hard, learn a lot and execute. We’re here to help and look forward to working with you.
